What do you think?

I know that some people believe that stock scanning should not be as involved and time consuming as some people make it.  I have heard some say they are more successful by quickly scanning sheets of stock information.  What do you think?

Re: What do you think?

I think I would prefer to take my time and look over things more slowly.  I don't know which approach would work better.

I use software that automatically screen stocks for me. It helps me pick the winners form the losers.

You need to be diligent in your research. Shortcuts will end up harming you in the long run. The best weapon in trading is information.

I also think that stock scanning should be done with in-depth analysis of whatever information available. Automatic screening may not provide the best decision for us, the investors, because at times there are lots of aspects to consider.

Yes I can see that taking your time to carefully review information is the best and safest way to go.
